Each year the British Computer Society hosts the I.T. Industries most prestigious awards. In 2005 I was voted 'I.T. Developer of the Year', for my ability to overcome the technical challenges of a highly scalable, web-based CRM system.
The judging process considered the success of the implementation, the benefits to the business, whether the project had met the stakeholder requirements and the positive effect that the application had had on the organisation's overall performance.
Other nominees for the award included strong candidates from IBM, Prudential UK and Anite Public Sector.
